Odessa duo featured performers, Houston dance competitors

     Eva Mills and Ray Reynosa, both of Odessa, were the featured performers at the Love To Dance Studio Day of Dance event held March 10 at the PAL gym.
     The duo performed their American Smooth foxtrot, tango and waltz showcases that they will display at the Texas DanceSport Challenge Competition March 31 in Houston.
     They will compete against 30 other registered competitors.
     Mills will also perform a cha cha exhibition with their Houston instructor, Victor Balan, at the competition.
     Mills is director of physical medicine and rehab at Medical Center Hospital. She has two children, Joshua and Jennifer Mills.
     Reynosa is an information service technician for the City of Odessa and is also an

  instructor at the studio.

     He and his wife, Veronica, have a son and daughter-in-law, Jose and Moraya Reynosa, and two grandchildren, Justice Xavier and Charisma Belle.
     At the Day of Dance event, studio instructors also offered a variety of dance lessons and later performed with team members.

     Special guest performers were Shawn and Kate Mercadal of San Angelo and Jay Stylz and Jenny ‘German Chocolate’ of Dallas.
Dance performances included the jive, rumba, cha cha, salsa, salsa shines, cumbia pegadas, jitterbug, Argentine tango and belly dance.
     Salsa instructor Enrique Romero was the announcer. Artistic DJ and cumbia pegada instructor Manuel Balderas provided the entertainment.
